London City

deSheep finally reached London., the largest metropolitan area in the United Kingdom.

~~The Tower Bridge~~

Tower Bridge (built 1886-1894) is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, England, over the River Thames.

The bridge is 800 feet (244 m) in length with two towers each 213 feet (65 m) high, built on piers. The central span of 200 feet (61 m) between the towers is split into two equal bascules or leaves, which can be raised to an angle of 83 degrees to allow river traffic to pass. The bascules, weighing over 1,000 tons each, are counterbalanced to minimise the force required and allow raising in five minutes.

Shaun discovered “deSheep”

Shaun is heading to Stonehenge.

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in the English county of Wiltshire. One of the most famous sites in the world, Stonehenge is composed of a circular setting of large standing stone set within earthworks.

Everyone of us is freezing over here. Cold!!! Cold!!! Cold!!! . . just can’t wait to get back to the car. Beside Stonehenge, there’s another Stone  lies just outside the main entrance to the henge.

~”The Heel Stone”~

and Heel Stone got some stories to shared, according to the stone:

The Devil bought the stones from a woman in Ireland, wrapped them up, and brought them to Salisbury plain. One of the stones fell into the Avon, the rest were carried to the plain. The Devil then cried out, “No-one will ever find out how these stones came here!” A friar replied, “That’s what you think!,” whereupon the Devil threw one of the stones at him and struck him on the heel. The stone stuck in the ground and is still there.

Beside seeing stone, there’s plenty of sheep surrounding that area. Due to this reason, this travel gang discovered something for shaun.

Isn’t naughty in Amsterdam Part II

Ops!! I’m yet to introduce Amsterdam, maybe I’m way too busy with the Museum Affair.

Here the stories begins:  Amsterdam is the largest city and the capital of Netherlands. Its name is derived from Amstelredamme, indicative of the city’s origin: a dam in the river Amstel. Settled as a small fishing village in the late 12th century, Amsterdam became one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age, a result of its innovative developments in trade. It use to be  the leading centre for finance and diamonds.

The Arrival and Amsterdam sigt seeing bus is available or maybe you would prefer walking.

Well for us, we choose to have a journey with the WALK. Walking through every street, sightseeing could be awesome. Every details and moment means something to us.

I thought i saw John Travolta in Actions 🙂
